The City of Dallas Love installed three airport Noise Monitor Terminals around Dallas Love Field.
The solar powered noise monitors are located in line with the runways, in a way they will record the noise levels of every aircraft arriving at or departing from Dallas Love Field.
The recorded noise levels are publicly available on this website and on the Live Flight Tracker.
Airport staff at the Aviation Department keep the recorded noise levels for analyses and reporting. If noise events are caused by aircraft noise, the noise levels are matched and stored with the correlated flights.
